1.Prologue

In the year 2247, Earth began a project called: "The Atlas Program"; the project was created with the intention to explore farther into space than ever before. It was a joint project along with another that would require the combined efforts and funding of almost every major country in the world. This caused massive uproars over where the money was going. No one wanted to spend any money on a project that had no promise or even a few known facts about it in the first place. The worlds' governments' demanded that everyone was to cooperate and those who refused were punishable by death. It didn't take long before these demands went sour due to slaughtered hundreds upon thousands. The bloodshed was the result of a forced global tax increase that was set at 20%. This blood stained shard of history was named GTI20 (Global Tax Increase of 20%) and was responsible for the formation of countless terrorist organisations, along with the deaths of thousands.

Years after GTI20, Protesting groups, riots, and terrorist organisations were still forming all over the globe without a change in pace. Though even more blood was being spilled and the seemingly endless bombings had little to no effect on the governments' choices to continue and stop or even slow the project. The refusal to end Atlas lead to even bigger conflict between the governments and their people. A massive war between the people and governments broke out that lasted for years, causing governments to topple from mass chaos and destruction throughout the world turning parts of the Earth into uninhabitable wastelands. Out of fear that the more powerful governments may fall, every unlaunched  nuclear missile was dropped into a bunker and sealed off with only a handful of people knowing of the true location. The people were given multiple fake locations that were later attacked and looted but luckily none had ever found the nuclear stockpile. It took an additional 4 years for the majority of the wars to begin dying out.

7 years from the exact day that The Atlas Program had been launched, there was finally a response. It came from the first method of communication among many, which was sending highly powerful radio signals out into multiple satellites that would increase the range possibilities to reach farther into space with each passing satellite set into orbit. The responses given were different encrypted messages each time. There was a new message once every week on Fridays at 3:00 PM. The encrypted messages were never knowingly translated due to sub-par technology and that were lost soon after they'd been sent. There was mass conspiracy that the governments had known there was going to be a response from the start and withheld the information from the public and because of this, many of the once peaceful governments had quickly turned on themselves. Ambassadors, Senators  and other governmental officials who tried to spread 'the truth' were assassinated one after another either before or during speeches regardless of how tight the security.

Within mere days of the final responses, spacecraft began flooding through the sky, thousands at a time. The crafts landed anywhere they could find an open area. If someone didn't know about The Atlas Program, it would've looked like a science fiction invasion; though everyone DID know, because it was supposedly the 7 year waste of tax money that caused countless deaths and was never going to aspire to anything.

As the ships descended upon the earth and opened their doors, foreign creatures from distant planets, galaxies, and life forms cautiously stepped forth. Some of the beings were leaving their ships with weapons (presumably) for self defense. Most of the "new visitors" looked surprisingly human.

Some of the many others had a few differences such as almost perfect resemblance to our idea of a werewolf. Their silk-like fur tails swayed casually with curiosity. Others had short wiggling tentacles on their faces that changed colors just as their bodies did. One second their bodies looked like the autumn leaves from a falling tree and then the next the colors of a coral reef would be sweeping through them in only seconds. A few species even had gills protruding out of their necks and sides! Regardless of being able to breathe just fine without water, the amphibious creatures stood silently with pain present in their eyes.

The 'foreigners' looked around and observed the wasteland once called Earth. A handful of the visitors cried out in a loud cheer, while others in horror at how polluted and mangled the planet had become in the hands of the humans. There was thick smog in the air, rivers were running dry, and civilizations were slowly dying because of starvation along with the more recent destruction caused by the human scum. The visitors had finally found this planet of "Lost Divinity" that was read to them as young ones and it was practically sitting in ruins. Though not fully in a physical sense, the planet itself was crying out in pain, barely clinging to life.

Main Characters / Species

Zoey: A bounty hunter without any family. Has long dark almost black hair, brown eyes. Doesn't age due to something that happened many years ago. Small, short, and fragile physique. Crossdresser and is practically addicted to baggy clothing. Holds countless secrets close. Holds heavy ties to Earths lost past. Fun Fact: Zoey’s body has become so adept at taking ‘larger objects’ that his ability to ‘stretch’ is shocking!

Raiz / Ray: A bounty hunter without any family.  Has short brown hair and green eyes. Tall, in his mid twenties, and very physically fit. Practically a babysitter for Zoey by keeping him in line and out of trouble as much as humanly possible. Fun Fact: Ray found Zoey passed out and mistook him for a woman until Zoey started stripping in front of him and demanded food. This lead to an awkward conversation that somehow resulted in the two working together for years as bounty hunters!

Banetooth: A very large humanoid figure with heavy canine traits. Some traits include but are not limited to a tail, fangs, genitalia, large amount of hair or fur covering most or all of the body. Usually live in packs but are always at each others throats. Highly aggressive and the source of most piracy. Fun Fact: Banetooth is the most common species of prisoner!

Frae: A humanoid with almost entirely similar traits as a human other than significantly increased lifespan. Frae develope either male or female genitalia depending on the sex of their current partner.They have full control over which genitalia is currently being used while conscious. Fun Fact: A high percentage of Frae actually prefer same genetalia over one having male and the other having female!

Skwith: Shapeless creatures that are made up of almost entirely water or other liquids. Completely peaceful yet occasionally kills humans on accident due to their love of other liquids and most life forms being made of mostly water as well. Skwiths have the ability to absorb any and all forms of liquid regardless of their current form. Skwiths have the ability to also change their shape, size, and mass at will. Fun Fact: Skwiths are responsible for 30% of accidental deaths throughout the solar system!

Valsi: An insect like humanoid race that prides itself on intelligence and cunning. Depending on which bloodline a Valsi comes from, they may have the ability to control sound waves. With enough time a Valsi may learn to cause massive vibrations or even cause high friction and cause explosions or electricity. Fun Fact: The stronger Valsi bloodlines are some of the highest ranking terrorists in the solar system!
