4.Leaving Station

Zoey popped his head out, checking to see what had happened to Ray. After their little.. Get together, he had gone through the UCD (Universal Communication Device, a shiny word for Internet on a universal level.) to see if there was any 'game' in the area. Which to their luck, there was! Buying the ship had actually cost them their entire pay cut. They needed a new flow of cash if they wanted fuel or even food for that matter.

“Raaaaaay~!” Zoey yelled.

He hollered for almost 5 minutes until an irritated voice replied with a groan. Ray squeezed himself out of an interior wall covered in dust and some oil.

“Is there something wrong with the ship or..?” Zoey frowned as he assumed something was broken already.

“Just a small oil leak in the left pressure valves 3 and 4. It'll be fine once I put in parts from the old ship.” Ray mumbled still looking at a few bolts and pieces in his hands.

Zoey frowned as he thought of how much this supposedly brand new ship had cost already them. He sat down crossing his legs and watching Ray. The husky man quickly noticed Zoeys' irritation and rolled his eyes thinking of the possible negative outcomes already if he did even one little thing to set the five by three monster off on a rampage..

“So when are we gonna be able to get off the ground? I found a new hunt that is paying really big." Zoey mumbled as he leaned against a wall.

"How big are we talking?" Ray asked while sliding himself back into the ships panels.

He smiled to himself, realizing Zoey was trying to distracting himself from the current situation. Ray continued to holler through the ship causing echo's in the walls of the metal home. As he got back to work, he continued, “What species? Or is it not specified?”

“Well there were only a few. There was one for a Valsi, and another for a... Infernox?” Zoey said hesitantly.

Zoey waited impatiently for an answer so he could set course for which direction start heading towards. Instead, Zoey only heard the sound of air escaping tubes and Ray letting out a very loud and irritated groan.

“I REALLY don't want to take on another Infernox. The last one we took down almost took out my baby.” Ray said with clear hurt in his voice.

Zoeys' mouth dropped and his personality changed immediately, realizing Ray was talking about the old ship and not him.

“Excuse me?!” He raised his voice clenching his fists in jealousy.

Ray laughed letting it echo throughout the ship and confirmed what he had said only seconds ago. “That's right! That damned infernox almost hurt my precious un-replaceable only love!” He said, continuously taunting Zoey.

Zoey could feel his cheeks fill with blood as he got up and pouted. He quickly stormed off talking in a low quiet voice to himself about how 'oh so horrible' Ray was to him and how inconsiderate he had been.

It didn’t take Ray much longer before he had fixed up the ship and its valves. He cleaned himself off with a hot shower. After 20 minutes he walked into Zoeys room with only a towel on. His hair was still damp from the shower but overall it was the very clearly outlined shapes that were distracting to Zoey.

“So did you decide which one we're going after, Miss Drama Queen?” He teased Zoey with a grin shooting across his face clearly knowing the effect he was causing.

Zoey glared in retaliation and crossed his arms along with his legs. He sat silently while staring at information on the Valsi. Since he refused to talk to Ray he rolled his eyes in annoyance and pressed a button on the arm of the chair which caused him to spin slowly. Ray blinked for a moment, attempting understand why Zoey was so weird but gave up quickly as usual. He turned to the UCD screen and rummaged through the info. He cocked his head to the side for a moment, furrowing his brow.

“Zoe, I'm not really sure we should go after this one. It looks like really big trouble.” Ray said with a serious tone..

Zoey scoffed at him as he stood up. He jabbed his finger into Rays chest with decent force.

“Well looks like that's just too bad. So go put clothes on before I do something that you're going to wish I didn't!” Zoey attempted to threaten. Though Ray only smiled and nodded, going along with Zoeys 'oh so vicious' rant.

Ray was distracted while inputting the coordinates to the navigation systems. Zoey walked out into the cockpit of the ship and sat down in the co-pilot seat. He pulled his feet up on the chair, hugging his knees as he watched out the front windshield lazily and half asleep, or bored. It was relatively difficult for Ray to distinguish Zoeys mood swings when they were so fast. Zoey looked over at Ray with a glare, still clearly upset from the comment earlier. He still refused to talk to Ray and continued to ignore his existence for the remainder of the flight. Regardless of how much Ray tried, Zoey just wouldn't budge. He even started to take off his clothes to try to get out a reaction, but to no avail.

After what seemed like decades, they reached the planet Oran 4. The landed down in a deserted airfield. Ray sat back and pushed a bunch of seemingly random buttons while Zoey checked to see if there was a sufficient amount of oxygen. On top of that he also had to check for any levels of  radioactivity. The point of both tests were so they would know if suits were needed or not. A suit means less mobility which wasn’t the best choice for their line of work. The test finished quickly and the clear was given that it was okay to walk around without suits. They strapped on their combat gear and began stocking up on munitions.

“So are we going to talk at all, or is this the silent treatment?” Ray asked.

Opening his mouth, Zoey took a deep breath and rolled his eyes while letting out a sigh. “ I don't mind talking. Just make sure it doesn't involve anything BUT the mission, understood?”

Ray could tell he at least made a small bit of progress somehow. He nodded with a little smirk on his face and stood up straight as he threw a rifle over his right shoulder. He soon pressed a large red button next to an escape pod on the ship to prep it for an emergency situation. This was standard routine. The dock of the ship slowly declined as the two stood next to each other. They watched the opening with their rifles ready. They expected an ambush due to how high of a profile the targeted Valsi was in the criminal underworld. However, there was surprisingly no such ambush at the landing site. They moved with utmost caution using hand signals and quietly moved through the overgrown jungle planet with absolute silence.

Zoey spotted a small shack ahead and gave Ray the signal to move forward. As normal, Ray followed without question. In an instant, there was a loud snap and Ray was gone, with nothing of him in sight. Zoeys eyes grew wide and began to feel his chest pound faster with each passing breath. He attempted to collect himself even though his mind was screaming. His once frozen legs now forced themselves forward. He moved slower and significantly more cautiously than before. He was constantly checking the ground and his surroundings before each step as to avoid the same fate as his colleague. His paranoia grew to the point that any sound he could hear was a potential threat. Flies would make his heart skip a beat. The strained muscle was practically beating out of his chest. Occasionally he would set foot on crunching leaves. He froze in place, both in fear and caution.

He took deep breaths and tried to keep himself together. He repeatedly told himself it was probably just a miss-fired teleporter and that Ray was fine. All Zoey had to do was a simple mission, capture a Valsi and bring it back to the ship. After that, the two hunters would have a good laugh at what happened, at least that was the plan. As Zoey got even more paranoid, he wondered if maybe Ray got teleported to the Valsi as a trap. He would be fine though, right? Besides Ray could take care of himself! He was a big boy and didn't need to rely on Zoey to do everything! Zoey finally made it to a plant covered metal shack. He made his way to a window and peered inside. Once he was sure that it was clear, he casually strolled up to the door and slowly turned the handle. As the door screamed with metal scratches, opening it had just lost his benefit of surprise. He quickly rolled in and silently aimed his rifle around the mostly empty metal cage. He was stayed in position for a few moments longer, making sure no one heard him come in. He double checked to permanently silence anything or anyone that may have seen him. It’s not like he really had a graceful entrance to begin with.

A subtle sigh escaped his lips as he stood up. He froze in place and shuddered, feeling a cold breeze roll down the nape of his neck. Zoey was unable to move. He started to feel something move along the left side of his hip. The sensation slid down further, underneath the waistband of his combat pants and panties, causing him to blush. He started counting down in his head from 5. The moment he hit 0, he spun around and dropped the rifle while pulling out a pistol. He aimed the gun at the creature behind him who was now in shock. In a mix of panic and survival instinct, the creature sent strong electrical pulses through the air. Zoey dropped his only remaining weapon and began shaking violently. He let out a shrill scream of agony as the pains relentlessly shot through his body.

The creature quickly recovered and took note of how Zoey reacted to the electricity. At first it was amusing but it figured why not make it more amusing? It shifted its thought process, tweaking its own personal setting to fit Zoeys... Breed. The once painful electrical pulses slowly changed. Zoey, barely out of shock, started  feeling vibrations moving through his body. This allowed Zoey to calm down a little and focus as his muscles relaxed unintentionally. Between pulses, Zoey shifted his eyes around trying to find if it was a device that the creature had planted somewhere as an ambush but had no luck. A grin began to spread across the creatures face. The vibrations grew stronger and stronger. It didn't take long to pinpoint to major locations inside Zoeys' upper body. As it played with Zoeys body, the vibrations sank lower, and lower. Only moments later, the creature was almost directly on Zoeys prostate, pushing him to the point that it was difficult to keep even his eyes open, let alone out of the back of his head. The feeling once again spread throughout his entire body, causing constant adrenaline to get pumped into his body. Within seconds he could feel pre-cum leak out of him regardless of how hard he tried to hold back. The creature increased the vibrations past a point Zoey could handle. The feeling forced his world to fade quickly.
